  Nice enough hotel. Modernized recently (over the past 6 years or so. However, the menacing one item that this hotel doesn't disclose to their hotel guest is that the loudest train on the planet runs by this hotel every 2 hours and it's ALL NIGHT LONG!! If you're planning on getting a full 8 hours or even 2 hours rest, forget about it! It's a nice enough hotel. Unfortunately, I cannot and will never stay there again.. if your going to stay, bring the best ear plugs money can buy.

  I came here a little over a year ago and wanted to stay because it was clean and everyone was friendly. Only been here for one night and it has been a night and day experience since my last stay. If you travel for work do not choose this hotel. All rates do not include breakfast. You have to pay for it separate. Never have I been to hotel on travel and they do not give you breakfast because you a special rate. Last time I was here, the rate included breakfast. When you think about it, there isn’t really any special rate. They are making up the difference by not providing free breakfast. The Best Western Plus is great hotel if you are on travel here in Davis. That is where I stayed last time. Also, they may put you in the back building...separate from the main hotel, which isn’t really safe if you are female, especially with the high homeless population in Davis.
