  We chose Allegre because we were told we would have all new carpet, paint, and appliances. We moved in back in September and have had the longest list of problems living here. No new appliances and it is now January. They had not finished painting (and still haven't). They basically were halfway done with the remodel when we moved in. Lights hanging from the ceiling, broken mirrors, unpainted walls. And we continue to pay more than the rest of the complex because it was supposed to be brand new (by more then a couple hundred $$) for our unfinished apartment. Maintenance has been less than helpful and no matter how many maintenance requests you place they don't necessarily ever finish a job. The best part is the lack of trash pickup, basically like living in a dump, trash overflows the parking lot regularly. This has been a terrible experience. I strongly advise picking a different overpriced Davis complex!
