  I've never been to a park in Davis that isn't well maintained, so bar is pretty high. I must have spent around 100 hours overall at this park bc community Park hosts most soccer games of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) that my kids play on.
  
  It's a nice park. It has a skate park, tons of field, new playground... if anything it's too big. Play areas and all of skate park have shade, which can matter a lot here.
  
  Most of the playing fields have nice goals, decent turf, and are well-marked... but have zero shade, and bc there's a berm on one end of the park and a hill on the other, little breeze comes in and players on the field can bake in the sun. No fault of the park obviously, but lack of shade is really noticeable when it's 110 or something in Davis.
  
  The public restrooms are a little gross compared to others in town, and can be a 5-10 min walk to get to for a younger kid on short legs, because it's so spread out. For that and the other reasons mentioned, giving this one four, not five stars.
